The excursion to the Uros and Taquile islands by speedboat allows us to visit both islands for a longer time, and significantly reduce travel time.
BEGINNING :
- Puno port to Uros floating islands (15 min approx)
- Uros floating islands to taquile island (1 hr 20 min approx)
RETURN
- Taquile Island to Puerto de Puno. (1hr 30 min approx)
First we visit two islands of the Uros. During the tour we will have a detailed explanation from our guide about the customs of the inhabitants of these floating islands with impressive views of the aquatic landscapes with the flora and fauna.
These floating islands are numerous built of totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca that is woven and stretched on another layer of it to build each island, They also use it to feed animals, build rafts, build houses, make fire, cook, etc.

- Pick up time from hotels: Between 07:00 am and 07:10 am

- Days of operation: from Monday to Sunday
- 7:00 am - Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the Port of Puno.
- 7:30 am - Boarding to go to Taquile.
- 8:15 am - Visit to the floating islands of the Uros. There you will have a cultural demonstration where you can discover the daily life of the inhabitants of the place.
- 10:00 am - We arrive at the island of Taquile. We begin to climb (1 hour approx.) By a gentle slope towards the main town. During the tour, the guide will explain many aspects of the culture and history of Taquile.
- 12:00 pm - Lunch at Rest. Traditional Communal. Tourist Menu is served: Quinoa Soup and fried trout (Optional: Vegetarian Menu).
- 1:00 pm - We begin the return to the main port of Taquile.
- 2:00 - 2:30 pm - Boarding to go to Puno.
- 4:00 pm - Arrival and transfer to your hotel.
