Today in Cusco we can not only enjoy the history of our legacy or of the great cities such as Machupicchu and Choquequirao. Cusco also generously gives us great natural attractions, such as the Quelccaya Glacier.

Itinerary
Day 1
CUSCO- COCHAS - BAJO HUANCANAY
This great experience begins with the pick up from your respective hotel in Cusco, to go to the community called Cochas.
This place is the point where we will start our walk. This walk lasts five hours , the last three hours we will do it on an unpaved road, upon arrival we will pause to recharge with a delicious lunch in the area prepared by our private cook.
After taking our lunch we will continue the walk, throughout this journey we will be able to enjoy the high Andean landscapes, we will see a valley full of llamas, alpacas and lagoons fed by the melting of glaciers.
After all the aforementioned we will cross a river, then we will begin a constant climb to the lower Huancanay (4,755msnm - 14,265 ft), in this place it will be our first camp.

Day 2
LOW -HIGH - HUANCANAY
This day we will start very early with a delicious breakfast and then start our walk to the upper Huancanay (5,150 masl- 15,450 ft) in the same way to the border of the current Quelccaya Ice Cap.
We will have the joy of exploring the impressive glacial landscapes during the day before returning to the camp in Bajo Huancanay at night.

Day 3
ALTO HUANCANAY -COCHAS -CUSCO
Our last day begins with an early breakfast, and then we start the walk back to the community called Cochas, where our private transport awaits us to return to the city of Cusco.
We will drop you off at your hotel in Cusco in the early afternoon.
