Itinerary
Day 1
Start of the tour
- 6:00 a.m. *approx. SAN JUAN DE PACHACAYO: In our first stop we will appreciate the wonderful view of the sunrise, as well as we will be able to take unforgettable photos in this great populated center recognized for its production of raw materials of wool, sheep meat, alpaca, and conservation of the vicuña.
- 6:30 a.m. *approx. In the early hours of the morning we will have our time for the first meal of the day where we will enjoy the rich stews of the mountains, broths and mates.
- 7:45 a.m. *approx. SHUTJO CANYON: We arrive at the imposing Shutjo Canyon, one of the hidden charms of the Nor Yauyos Cochas Landscape Reserve, which are gigantic walls over 60 meters high, which make it a very touristic and unmissable place to visit. We will also appreciate a spectacular landscape of grasslands. (We will make a light walk of 20 minutes approx. To reach the top of the Canyon)
- 10:30 a.m. *approx. TUTANYA HANGING BRIDGES: We make a brief stop to live the experience of Walking through Inca Hanging Bridges made from grass, in a replica version, we will also observe impressive figures sculpted in limestone.
- 12:30 p.m. *approx. LAGUNA DE PACA: We arrived at the enormous *Laguna de Paca*. It has an area of 6 square kilometers approx. Its crystal clear and fresh waters make it unique and highly visited in the Mantaro Valley. Exciting legends are woven about this lagoon regarding its creation. We will also have time to visit its viewpoint. Undoubtedly unmissable.
- BOAT RIDE: We will take a boat tour on the crystal clear waters of this huge lagoon, where we will be able to observe the flora and fauna of the area, we will also observe small islands among the best known *Island of Love*.
- 2:00 p.m. *approx. LUNCH: Lunch in front of the Paca Lagoon, free time to enjoy the delights of typical stews based on trout, guinea pig, etc. In front of the Paca lagoon.
- 3:00 p.m. *approx. PLAZA DE JAUJA: Brief stop at the Plaza de Armas of Jauja, the first capital founded by the Spanish.
- 3:30 p.m. *approx. JR.CUSCO MURALS: We arrive at the Yauyos District square and Jr. Cuzco, where we will appreciate spectacular Murals referring to the emblematic Dance *La Tunantada* where we will have time for our fantastic photos. Before leaving for Lima, we make our last purchases of souvenirs, bread, cheese, etc.
