Climbing and Typical Desserts
- It will be a day of climbing on the banks of the Chili River in the Chilina Valley. It does not matter if it's your first time climbing or if you have already practiced this sport a lot, the place we go to is great for beginners and experts.
- Charcani is an ideal sector for sports and relaxation located at the foot of the Chili River and next to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Chapi, patron saint of Arequipa; ensuring a perfect environment to enjoy an excellent adventure day.
Departure place
- Arequipa: Pick up from your Hotel.
- As long as it is in the city center and prior coordination with the Operator.
- For places outside these limits, you must coordinate with the Operator the feasibility of your pick-up or Meeting Point or additional cost.

Itinerary
Day 1
Climbing afternoon
- Pick up of passengers from their lodging.
- Entrance to the Chilina valley where we will observe crops of local products and a beautiful view of the Chili River at the foot of the three volcanoes.
- Start of climbing in Charcani next to the Chili River. An introduction and adequate training will be carried out before carrying out the activity.
- >> Climbable rock walls from 10 m are presented. up to 25m Tall. Here we will find different climbing difficulties from the most basic (5+) to an intermediate/advanced level (7c)
- We leave the Chilina Valley in the direction of the old neighborhood and Yanahuara viewpoint where we will appreciate a unique view of Arequipa, its ancient architecture and ashlar carvings; to then taste desserts from Arequipa such as "ice cream cheese" or "picarones with honey".
- Yanahuara is also highly recommended for buying local crafts and products.
- Return to the hotel.
