Itinerary
Day 1
GOLDEN JUNGLE TOUR
- Departure 9.00 AM
- Visit to petroglyphs o To get to this place we will hike along the old road to Satipo from Huancayo approx. 15 minutes and on the way we will recognize some medicinal plants, cocoa cultivation and its diversity and taste them, then the Huanacaure petroglyph.
- Visit and dip in the La Jungla waterfall - CP Palmapampa.
- Visit to the fish farm of Paiches.o In this place we will see the breeding of the largest tropical fish in the world.
- Visit coffee processing plant, tasting mango beer and Jamaica flower beer.
- Return to Satipo. 6.00 PM APPROX.
Day 2
GALLITO DE LAS ROCAS TOUR
- Departure 9.00 AM
- Visit of Mariposa or Capital of the Pampa Hermosa district, to get to this place we will travel along the old road to Satipo from Huancayo where we will see the diversity of flora and weather as we move forward. (Satipo 630 masl - Butterfly: 1250 masl approx.)
- Visit to the Gallito de las Rocas Waterfall o To get to this point we will take a walk approx. 15 minutes crossing the suspension bridge of San Antonio and then to the waterfall for a refreshing dip
- Visit the trout farm. o In this place we will have the opportunity to see trout farming, as well as lunch with their respective trout.
- Visit to the Monkey Waterfall o To get to this point we will take a 10 minute walk where we will enjoy the charm and freshness of this waterfall.
- Birdwatching - Gallito de las Rocas, green toucan and others o To get to this place we will take a walk along the road approx. 30 minutes and on the way we will recognize some medicinal plants.
- Visit the natural pool of Membrilo (Optional).
- Return to Satipo 6.00 PM APPROX.
Day 3
CHOCOLATE AND JACK FRUIT TOUR
- Departure 9.00 AM
- Visit the intercultural park of Rio Negro.
- Visit to the farm of the largest fruit in the world Jack Fruit o We will tour the farm to see crops of sacha inchi, soursop, pineapple, cocoa and especially the largest fruit in the world (Jack Fruit) and its derivatives.
- Visit of the Pitajaya farm.
- Visit to the San Juan de Cheni Cooperative. o In this place we will see the entire process of growing organic cocoa to the final product, buying bitter chocolates, cocoa paste, cocoa ice cream and many more.
- Boat ride on the Perene River (Optional).
- Return to Satipo 6.00 PM APPROX.
Day 4
TINA DE PIEDRA TOUR
- Departure 9.00 AM
- We will start the day with the tasting of the Golden Pineapple
- Visit to Piedra Dorada and citrus cultivation. o In this place we will see the cultivation of citrus where we will taste the fruits of the same plant, thus we will also recognize medicinal plants, then we will go up to the Golden Stone from where we can see the entire Mazamari valley and the petroglyphs that are in the same stone.
- Imperitaja Waterfall -Tina de Piedra o Once we have reached our main objective, we will take a rich dip in the Tina de Piedra Waterfall, always with the company of our guide.
- Visit to the native community of Boca Capirushari.
