Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Arequipa
- Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel in Arequipa. After checking into the hotel, you will have the morning free to shop in the city.
- In the afternoon, around 1:30 p.m. we will begin our tour of the city of Arequipa , we will visit the Santa Catalina Monastery , then we will visit the Plaza de Armas, one of the most beautiful in Peru, the Jesuit Church of the Company , which in Its beautiful facade announces the so-called mestizo architecture, its cloisters and its dome, the house of Tristán del Pozo and at the end, and for a magnificent view of the city, we will visit the typical districts of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara . (Viewpoint and Church).
- We will return to Arequipa around 6pm.

Day 2
Arequipa - Colca Canyon - Arequipa
- We will leave Arequipa at 3:00 am, we will drive for 3 and a half hours to the northwest behind the snowy Chachani towards Chivay , capital of the Colca Canyon. Where we will have breakfast.
- We continue driving for 2 more hours to the most famous point in the Colca Canyon “La Cruz del Cóndor”.
- This is where we can see the depth of the canyon and the flight of the Condor. The area features beautiful typical towns, such as Yanque and Maca, colonial churches, friendly people in dresses and hats with typical sewing, and hundreds of pre-Inca terraces that are still in use with Andean crops such as corn, quinoa and kiwicha. .
- Already in Chivay at noon there is an optional visit to the hot springs of La Calera, with pools that have a water temperature of up to 40 ° C / 104 ° F.
- In Chivay we will have a traditional lunch and after lunch we will travel back to Arequipa.
- We will stop on the way, at the highest pass: the viewpoint of the volcanoes and snow-capped mountains in Patapampa (4,800m).
- Later we will see wild vicuñas, alpacas and llamas in the Pampa Cañahuas national reserve and some birds such as: flamingos, ibis, Andean geese, ducks and Andean eagles called “Kara Kara” in Quechua.
- Finally we will arrive in the city of Arequipa at the end of the afternoon, at approximately 5pm.

Day 3
Sillar Route
- Transfer from the Hotel in Arequipa at 08:30 am and we will transfer you to the ashlar quarries located in the Cerro Colorado district.
- In a time of approx. 30 minutes from the center of Arequipa we will arrive at this place known as the Añashuayco Quarries, in this place we can see where the stonemasons take the Ignimbrite from and then with great patience they manage to make the Sillar, we will explain in detail the elaboration of it and They will also know the history behind the Sillar.
- We will return to the city of Arequipa at approximately 1pm.
