Huancayo is the largest and most progressive city in the highlands of Peru, capital of the Department of Junín, located in the beautiful Mantaro Valley at 3,249 meters above sea level and known as "the Uncontrastable City".

The Central Selva occupies 10% of the Peruvian territory and is distributed between the regions of Junín, Pasco, Huánuco, Ucayali, Loreto, Huancavelica and Cusco.
Unlike the Amazon rainforest, it has a cool and temperate climate, with large rivers such as Ene, Perené and Mantaro.

Departure place

Huancayo: Reception and Transfer from the Bus Terminal to the Accommodation. The pick-up points and times for the Tours will be coordinated with the operator.

Day 1

Full Day - Monumental (North Valley)

Start: 10:30 a.m.
Departure from Huancayo.
Orcotuna: Sanctuary of the Virgin of Cocharcas.
Myth: Main square, main church and the replica of the Trevi Fountain (Optional).
Exhibition of the dance of the Huaconada.
Wawi Wawi: Geological formations (15 minute trek).
Paca Lagoon: Boat ride.
Jauja: Plaza de Armas and Colonial Church.
Chapel of Cristo Pobre (Optional).
Dairy plant: Purchase of dairy products.
Return to Huancayo.
End: 7:00 p.m.

Day 2

Full Day - Perene Valley (Central Jungle)

Start: 4:30 a.m.
Departure from Huancayo.
Yanango Tunnel: Third longest tunnel in Peru (1,025 m).
Bayoz Waterfall: 15-minute trek.
Velo de la Novia Waterfall: 15-minute trek (Optional).
Boat ride on the Perene River.
Marankiari: Ashánincas native community.
Coffee Light Chanchamayo: Coffee and fruit processing plant.
Return to Huancayo.
End: 11:30 p.m.

Day 3

Huancayo City Tour

First Departure: 8:00 am. (Start) - 12:00 pm. (End).
Second Departure: 1:00 pm. (Start) - 5:00 p.m. (End).

Departure from Huancayo.
Torre Torre: 30-minute round trip trek.
Liberty Hill.
Huanca Identity Park.
Cochas: Process of the Chipped Mates.
Park of the Chipped Mates.
Return to Huancayo.
