Visit the city of stone in Arequipa, province of Caylloma, district of Tisco Chocolaqa is an impressive geological formation based on volcanic tuff, it is a forest of rocks that seems to be taken from Mars, with very surprising figures that make you think that I deal with the work of a God and this site is called Chocolaqa or Choqolaqa.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arequipa - Colca Canyon - Chivay
- We will pick you up and then travel from Arequipa for 3 hours to Chivay; the capital of the Colca Canyon heading northwest behind snow-covered Chachani.
- We will arrive at the town of Yanque there we will have breakfast. Then we continue driving for 1 and a half more to the most visited point "La Cruz" del Cóndor here, we can see the depth of the canyon and the flight of the Condor.
- The area presents beautiful typical towns, such as Yanque and Maca, colonial churches, gently people with typical sewing dresses, hundreds of pre-Inca terraces that are still used with Andean crops such as corn, quinoa, kiwicha, among others.
- In addition, we will visit the hot spring pools (which the entrance fee is additional) for which we have 45 free minutes.
- Then we will visit the city of Chivay for lunch.
- After lunch, we will drop you off at your hotel in this town of Chivay and you will have the afternoon free for acclimatization.
- Night in Chivay.
Day 2
Chivay - Chocolaqa stone forest 4500 masl - Arequipa
- After breakfast
- 05:00 Departure from Chivay, travel for 3 hours along the Chivay, Tuti, Sibayo, Callalli route until reaching the district of Tisco.
- The tour is along a track and trail road with a panoramic view of the Andes. Lagoons, mountains, herds of alpacas.
- We arrive at the place called CHOCOLAQA, an impressive geological formation based on volcanic tufo.
- To appreciate the different capricious formations, we begin a 2-3 hour walk, capturing unique views of the place.
- Afternoon; return to the city of Arequipa with some stops in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
- 19:00 End of the tour in the historic center of the city or in the coordinated place.
